Jubilee Book Project

I have spent a lot of the last couple of weeks making a lot of cards taking my stash of papers, etc to build a stash of cards for use when needed.  I did take time out last weekend to go to Tucson with a friend of mine to another friend's home for a Club Scrap workshop on the new project that came with the January Stamp kit.  It's a very unique Venetian Blind Book project - here is a pic of the one I did - the blind part is very challenging but it's fun.....

and when open.............

Thanks for stopping for a visit - see you next time around :)

Mono-Die Challenge with Beth

Good morning - I hope everyone is having a great week..  I'm in week #4 of the ClubScrap PSL - Pro-Scrappers League - it's an awesome challenge by the staff at Club Scrap to use up our stash of paper.  In the middle of all this Beth Norman of Sunflowers and Dragonflies and I have been challenging each other every week to do a new project from Technique Junkies - Beth is working on getting me out of my "comfort zone".  This week we decided to do the "Mono Die" technique from the Feb issue of Technique Junkies.  Here is my entry:

I picked paper from my Club Scrap Stash, a stamp from a Bird Collection from Martha Stewart, Greeting Stamp is from Club Scrap.  You can find Beth's beautiful card at Sunflowers and Dragonflies  Last week we did the Herringbone Tech using the Border Embossing Folders from Cuttlebug.  Be sure to check back next Wednesday to see what we are working on next week.
Thanks for stopping by :)
