Cards I Have Made for "World Card Making Day"

Here are some of the cards I decided to work on today
This first one is a Tri-Fold Card that I used paper from Club Scraps Arts & Crafts kit, the flower was made with the stamp from Arts & Crafts Kit, I stamped 2 and then cut, curled a bit and added a brad.

The 2nd card is made with the Stencil and Kokopelli Stamp from Club Scraps "Adobe" kit  Card Base and ribbon are from my stash

I used my favorite Herringbone Tech and my cuttlebug embossing folders for this card.....all papers and tag are from Club Scrap
This Christmas Card uses the "Texture-Duet" technique from the latest Techniqu Junkies newsletter, 2 of my Cuttlebug embossing folders and a stamped sentiment from Inkadinkadoo.

Thanks for looking and I love it when you make comments :)

Try That Technique Thursday - Bandanna - Aug 08

Beth is still out of pocket for this week - The Challenge will return next Thursday, Sept 7.  The tech that I did this week is Bandanna and is from the Aug 08 issue of Technique Junkies.  I didn't have a white gel pen so I used a stylus and some white acrylic paint.   All of the papers and stamps are from Club scrap.
I hope you enjoy and be sure to come back next Thursday when the challenge resumes.

Another card for today

Michael Strong did a challenge this month to use one of his Cloisonne Stamps and use a "traditional" method of making a card look like a piece of enameled work.  I used this "Pot" stamp did a Gold Embossing and then filled in with colored pencils.  For the reeds, I used my paper cutter and sliced very thin strips.  Rolled some of the strips around a skewer to get the curled look and taped to the Cuttlebug background piece.

I hope you enjoy.....any and all comments appreciated :)

Cards I've been working on

Last week Beth was on vacation and we didn't do the Try that Technique  Challenge, but I did do my card....it  was Glowing Pastels from April 07 newsletter.....I used stamps and papers from Club Scrap
This week I made a couple of cards for a 2nd Anniversary of the Michael Strong yahoo group.  Stamps are from Michael Strong and papers from Club Scrap.

Thanks for looking - all comments are welcome and appreciated.
