Merry Christmas

I have been doing a few Christmas cards lately and thought I'd share a few with you.

This first one uses a stamp from Club Scrap that I embossed with gold embossing powder.  Added ornaments from a 6x6 paper pad from "My Mind's Eye", and layered on misc papers from my Club Scrap stash.  The "Peace on Earth" greeting is from Club Scrap.

This 2nd card is a Herringbone Technique using strips from the "My Mind's Eye" pad and then topped it with a die cut tree - adding some stickles, etc.

This 3rd card is fun to make and it the "Circle Stips" technique from the latest Technique Junkies newsletter.  I used papers from the "My Minds Eye" 6x6 paper pad, greeting from Club Scrap and fiber from stash.

Thanks for looking and I wish each of you a very Merry Christmas.

Some more Sympathy Cards.

I also had to make a couple more Sympathy cards that will be passed around at Coffee tomorrow for friends to sign.

This first one shows the cover and the inside - I used papers from Club Scrap Great Outdoor and images from a special Sympathy set, and stamps from Just Dandy - all from Club Scrap

This card used papers from Versailles kit and the tag was a cut out greeting from the same kit.  This is also from Club Scrap

This 3rd card features a leaf stamp from Natural Resources, backgrond  stamp and greeting  from another kit

This last card features a Tree Stamp from Great Outdoors, greetings and paper from Club Scrap.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my cards.  They were fun to make - even though they are for sad occasions.

Sympathy Cards

I provide the Get Well and Sympathy cards when needed at our 55+ Mobile Home/RV Resort out here in Arizona.  My stash was getting done and I used a sketch provided by Tricia Morris of Club Scrap and took her up on her challenge to make some cards.

You can find the sketch and challenge http://clubscrapcreates.blogspot.com/2013/10/handmade-cards-for-those-sad-days.html

I used papers from the Full Circle kit from Club Scrap and the new um's from "Lock & Key" kit from Club Scrap.

I'm just hoping I don't have to use all of these soon.

Thanks

Another Card

I got busy and found another background I made - so pulled out some of this fun copper paper from Club Scrap's Adobe kit.  The background stamp is from Full Circle and the greeting stamp is also from Full Circle.

Thanks for stopping by....until the next time
Happy Crafting

Cards I made this week

Decided to do some more "creating" this week.....I was inspired by some items posted on the Club Scrap Creates Blog during the month of August and a Challenge on the Club Scrap Board.

Card base is a 5x7 pre-folded Kraft Card, Ivory cardstock, background stamp from Club Scrap Wildflower kit, flower stamps from Club Scrap's Painted Desert kit (2005), greeting from Club Scrap Solstice kit.  Ink is Bundled Sage from Ranger.  Used a punch from Fiskar's Advantage Interchangeable punch set.

Card base is another 5x7 pre-folder Kraft Card (from Recollection), Ivory Cardstock from stash, background stamp is from Club Stamp Natural Resource (2009) kit.  Ink is Bundled Sage from Ranger, greeting from Hero Arts.

Thanks for checking my blog out - I hope to do more every week.
Wishing everyone a creative week.

Just did a couple new card this week and hope to get busy on more.....

I just had to try my hand at the "side step" card and as much as I don't do "Halloween" thought I would use the Halloween stamps I've had for years.
The 2nd card is a Tri-Fold card using  Pumpkin paper from a neat fall set of papers I had in my stash and the Leaf Stamp and sentiment were both from Club Scrap.

Thanks for looking and I promise I will start adding on a regular basis again.

Trying to get back into creating some cards.

I haven't done much in the last 6 months, but am hoping to start playing in the craft room again.
Used Kraft prefolded envelope on this with a strip cut from a Club Scrap "Bold Blooms". Greeting is from Club Scrap "Pure and Simple", Flowers and Pearls from stash.

The 2nd card is using all papers from my stash.  Created the green piece with my score board and Martha Stewart punch around the page punch.  Also used the score board and Tea dye Ranger distress ink on the edges of the Kraft layer.  Cut the flowers out of stash using a Sixxiz Flower Die, brad from stash.   I will add a greeting at the bottom, depending on rather I choose to do a Get Well, Sympathy or Birthday card.

Thanks for looking.

I haven't posted anything for quite some time.  We live in a55+ community in Arizona and I make the "get well" and "sympathy" type cards when needed for members of our community.  We have a Monday morning "coffee and donuts" and cards get passed around for signatures, when needed.  These are a couple of cards I did this morning.

Thanks for stopping by and I promise to keep this up a bit better :)
